A Thousand Lives

Bare feet silently treading the forest floor
The breathlessness of the dark night
The eerie creak of an ancient wooden door
Starburst of mysterious, wonderful light

Flutter.

Salty waves crash, torrents flow
Desperate cries resounding
The world tosses to and fro
Nature's menacing power surrounding

Flutter.

Heart pounding, blood rushing, flowing
White hot flash, shattering boom
Time suddenly slowing
Paralyzing fear of impending doom

Flutter.

A thousand lives to live
An intriguing tapestry, covered and bound
A turn of a page allows all to experience, relive
Adventures renowned

Flutter.
