Thoughts of a Lamb

Wed, 06/05/2013 - 20:22 -- JDawg16

Here I sit, alone at last
thinking of the distant past
that shaped me into who I am;
coming home, a long-lost lamb
returning to my pasture home
from the rocky fields I've roamed,
welcomed by my Shepherd's embrace,
filled with love and drenched with grace.
A gentler rain we'll never see
Until we reach eternity.
