A Thought To Ponder

Jesus is the way

He’s the truth

Even the light

He died for my sins

I no longer have to fight

But look at all the people

Constantly stuggling to do right

Does God even know them or are they dead for life?

The question stays unanswered

Cuz he works in mysterious ways

Is He pro-life, even for the Jews and the gays

We talk about false profits

Can you distinguish their ways

Maybe you should ask them

Does He hold prejudice

Or did Jesus alter His gaze

Cuz maybe they don’t know this

But He’s already numbered our days.

He knew sho we were

Before we even formed

So where do we get the right

To slam his face in the door

We talk all this trash about beggars, prostitutes and whores

But didn’t He show mercy when they knocked on heavens door

What’s more

Didn’t he cherish all people

No matter where they were born?

He humbled Himself

He was born in a manger

Now we’re so fucked up

We worship a green piece of paper.

Can we understand what true love really entails

Not till we look at His holes from the nails.

He is eternal

He will never die

Take a good look at your savior

It might even make you cry

There are so many rules

I just can’t understand why

But who am I to question the big man in the sky?

These opinions haunt me

Which one do I choose as truth

The only way I can decide

Is if I do what I need to do.

So he who is without sin

Cast the first stone

Nobody can step forward...

All our sins are known.
