For Those I Love

Location

92
Pakistan

To you, who flew in face of everything despite the world's old plans,

Like a flower blooming after the garden was torched.

To you, the saving grace, generosity spurred by love for a stranger,

I see now that I have a chance; you paved the way.

To you, the genuine smile,

Believing that this place is truly good even after your suffering.

To you, the outstretched hand guiding me,

We are different in the same way.

I have no worries, even after seeing how far we have come,

I hope to break the pattern as you have.

I want to replant the razed garden, but can I replant every garden?

I look back at you, you're actually happy.

I guess one is enough.
