Think before you bully me….
When I was little and in my teens you picked on me,
I’d come to school with torn and dirty clothes that you could see,
Bruises on my body did not hurt as bad,
As your wicked words were really sad,
I wish you wouldn’t have punched my face,
How dare you think it was your place?
You never gave me a chance to be your friend,
I often wondered when it would end,
My heart was damaged, so lonely and scared,
Why did you have to except the dare?
I cried so hard each day at school,
I don’t think your bullying was ever cool,
I wonder what could’ve been if only you were my friend,
You never decided on a day to just let it all end,
When I was little and in my teens you picked on me,
I’m now am an adult with a past of hurts and sorrows,
Knowing now you can’t bully me,
I can look upon better tomorrows,
I’m just as pretty as you now and back then,
Forgiveness towards you within my heart I send……
