Your message is perfect! However, have you ever thought to add in a few metaphors or maybe a simile or two? Doing so always makes poetry much more powerful.

One way you can do this in this particular poem is by elaborating on what you mean when you say, "Think beyond because your a sunshine." Instead, you might paint a picture by saying, "Shine through all of your hardships like the Sun rays on a cloudy day".
