Think About it

Think about it

You want new clothes, a car or phone

You beg and demand

You whine and complain

But your parents say no

There are others in this world

without food

no shelter, food or protection

hungry lost and alone

Suffering from pains you could never imagine

not knowing what they will do to protect themselves

they haven’t had food for days or even weeks

hungry lost and alone

Disease has slowly began to take over

they go day after day suffering, starving

and losing hope

hungry lost and alone

But you don’t even realize it

You’re too worried about yourself

You don’t even care

Do you really think your life is that hard?

We think our lives are so hard. But we don't realize how much worse it could be.
