When we were young and oblivious to the world

Our parents nurtured us

With age we came to develop into a self

That has been weathered and battered by life

As we grew to adolescence our thoughts and actions grow murky

When your friends want you to smoke weed just once

When you have the choice to be with the boys or do your homework

When you are at a party and you open your legs to some stranger

When you grab the kitchen knife and start to cut yourself

When you feel overwhelmed and want to give up

Life is to precious to be wasted

So think of tomorrow

This poem is about:
Our world
