These Moments

Take your mark, beep!

I jump as I hear the sound of the buzzer.

I live for these moments,

the moments the adrelaline rushes through your body at the start of a race.

I live for these moments,

the moments that makes the 3 hour practices worth while.

I live for these moments,

the moments when you can hardly breathe but know you need to keep your head below the water to drop time.

I live for these monents,

the moments you touch the wall and see you have only dropped one one hundreth of a second but it makes all the difference.

I live for these moments because this is my life and has been for 11 years.

I live for these moments because I am a swimmer and this is what I love.
