There Is No Other

Search high and low,

no matter where I go,

there will never be another.

I run,

You pursue,

I cannot escape a love so true.

I do not believe in me,

yet within, You find something I cannot see,

and You never let go.

Loneliness and fear grip me;

You do not forsake me.

The waters rise,

my hope fails,

I see Your face,

no weapon formed against me shall prevail.

The path is narrow,

and I cannot find my way;

in Your book of endless wisdom,

I find strength to face the day.

Many trials I have faced,

yet none so great,

as a moment apart from You.

My Strength and Song

You have been,

You are,

You will be.

Search high and low,

no matter where I go,

there will never be another.
