Laughter spreads across their beings while pain fills my soul
I pray to God every night that numbness will take control
Nightmares follow after every time flashing back to when I was taken
That night I died inside, my innocence forsaken
I thought this didn't exist anymore, the proclamation took it away
I guess that's what humans tell themselves to get through day to day
