That one feast during that one time of the year

That one moment when calories don't matter, we have no fear

Across that one big table we can barely see

Through that one turkey big enough for the entire family

That one big bowl of mash potatoes, that never ends

This one time you have so much food, you invite some friends

One dark figure stared from outside the window

Just from the bottom of one corner so his face wouldn't show

His one jacket was his only friend

There wasnt one moment when he wouldn't wonder when this would all end

He lived his one and only life without ample food or a family

Looked through garbage cans and ate the remainder of whatever food he could see

Even without any resources he had no fear

Because for him it was like this through out the whole year.
