Thanks Karma

Karma is the cycle of cause and effect

The law is infinite so we are always checked

We work hard in the present to reap benefits later

We invest so much time to become greater

I remember I finished last in the mile run

I looked behind and saw no one

I was struck deeply by humiliation

Slowly led to my frustration

Sadly, I fell into an emotional pit

So I gained some pounds and became unfit

One day I saw myself in the mirror

And my problems became clearer

I went downstairs and started to lift

I knew the result would not be swift

But soon my weight started to drift

My attitude started to shift

And next mile run, I did my best

I looked behind and saw the rest

Without Karma, I would’ve never tried

It was my teacher and my guide

But sometimes we forget

The results of our wrongdoing must also be met

When I was a naughty little brat,

I never wore my hard hat

I didn’t think about my action’s aftermath

So I had to face Karma’s wrath

Riding on my bike, I fell on my head

When I got up, the concrete was red

I learned the price of being cool

Wearing a helmet is my rule

Karma is my driving force

It guides my life's course

Knowing this, I strive to learn

Education is my only concern
