Thanks

John 14:16

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.

Grateful

Thank You for remembering the times when I think to be alone

Thank You for Your kindness to show I am not forgotten

Thank You for Your thoughts that bring pleasant memories

Thank You for making life worthwhile to me, the ill-begotten

Traveling far from greatness in the shadows of my failures

Having long sought by every means for an easy way out

The good news however imprinted and deep inside written

That nothing befalls accidentally and that’s what it’s all about

Getting away from self and me seems a constant battle

So oft I seem defeated by the contradiction of dying to self

I’m always on my mind and unless the Lord removes this

I’ll stumble and fall constantly and that I know very well
