As A Teenage Girl

As a teenage girl, growing up in a world made for men... I sometimes like to imagine if this world was made for both men and women. As a teenage girl, growing up in a white man world, I get hit on or stared at by old men about 5 times a day, if I go outside. As a teenage girl, growing up in a sexist world; I often wonder how different the social acceptability on what girls should look like, smell like, be like, if this world wasn't made for the precious egos of men; who may I add, run our society and almost our entire world. AS A TEENAGE GIRL, GROWING UP IN A WORLD MADE FOR MEN, I believe in equality and that I should not be punished for wearing a summer dress, or shorts during hot weather because a man cannot control himself over my bare legs and arms. We live in a society where as a female, we get punished for wearing belly tops, shorts, dresses even, when men are getting excused for being men, because men cant "control" themselves, yet we live in a society where these humans who cant "control" themselves rule our world? Weird.
