The Tainted Earth
The world is dying and we don't even care
We lie and cheat, making nothing fair.
We give nothing to our planet, just destruction and death
Humans bring war and murder, stabbing each other in the chest
Humans think their superior, but that's just a lie
We're so cruel and evil, that we make our own kind die.
The people that are different take away their life
Or cut themselves away, with a small knife.
When they finally die, we say that we're upset
But we only do care when there's no time left.
Remember the pages we made, to say their the same
I would bet my life that you can't remember their names.
We say that we're sorry but it only lasts less than a year
As soon as the trend ends, their story disappears.
We say we're the smartest creature on this earth
Yet we're so foolish that we treat lives like dirt.
We hire mercenaries to fight in war, just to get some pay
But all those spoils are nothing, at the end of the day.
When we're celebrate that we won a war, with little casualties on our side
Did you ever stop and wonder, how many people died?
There's a boy on the other side, waiting for his father to come home
Little does he know, that he'll soon see his father's gravestone.
We celebrate murder and we sell our own kind
How are we so superior if our greed made us blind?
We murder the innocent, acting without proof
Thinking that their terrorist, we blow up their roof.
We bomb each other, killing even small kids
What would you do, if you saw all the destruction you did?
Will humans change? Will it finally stop?
Will the fires stop burning? Will we clean up our slop?
Until then, the battles continue, and the wars go on.
We have little time left, we're ticking like a bomb.
