Tainted

When I looked into his eyes,

I tried to find something,

something more,

something pure.

But all I saw,

was nothing.

He was tainted by society.

He was the same as the rest of them,

being what everybody wants him to be.

He was like a robot,

there are too many like him.

When I looked into his eyes,

I tried to find something,

but I was searching for something that was never there,

he was never pure.
