Symbolism

Symbolism

A wall was built to ensure my safety.

A bond was forged as an act of fate.

This wall has crumbled - it was a feeble symbol,

For a link now in shambles.

A flower grew as a gift from you.

A promise was made by two young fools.

This flower has withered - it was a sickly symbol,

For a love once pure, now unfiltered.
