Supermoon

That night I saw you illuminating in the night sky, I realize I was small,

that all the world's troubles and your own didn't matter at all,

at peace with yourself and the silence in night's air,

I found me, at last, no other feeling could compare,

tears of joy slowly make its way down this face,

this new face of confidence, strength, and love,

no more negativity, not a trace,

I will spread this knowledge I have conjured,

hope to change youths and elders alike,

though there isn't a one true cure,

there is hope...there is faith...belief

and like me I grasped onto a rope,

with my own two hands,

there is the light,

the one that shines on all the colors of life.
