Sunset

John 6:63 New English Translation (NET Bible)

63 The Spirit is the one who gives life; human nature is of no help!

The words that I have spoken to you are Spirit and are Life.

Sunset

There is not much that’s happening.

There is not much that gathers

Irritation in a pile … to draw emotions tight

I guess things move like a quiet evening

When the sun sets nothing matters

as all in nature prepare for the night

Part will sleep and part is awakening

Life appears from an overgrown platter

as it flows over in everyone’s plight

There is no fake or artificial positioning

except in men’s intentional splatter

For they love wrong … ignoring right

In nature death brings life graciously

to the ones whose hearts will flatter

another day for “life’s” so quiet

I guess man’s life is death existing

unless prevented by the Master,

a living sacrifice in glorious flight

Flying high and times crashing

broken wings and legs in plaster,

heals so slow ... My!  Oh!  My!

Questions rise about my flying.

Will I ever get off … my Master

or will handicaps mold me into fright?
