As The Sun Sets On The Shore

Heart of fire blazes in the sky

Of orange and yellows

As time slowly creeps by

Waiting is task of the mind

Passion is task of the heart

As my eyes despereatly try to find

Another fire set to smolder

As I try to stay hopeful

The night becomes cruelfully colder

Listen to sounds of the shore

Of waves and sand crashing together

This sadness originates from my core

I wait for him as the breeze difts by

As the fire of sun in now gone

I begin to once again cry

Dusk  has had to flee

Now sleep and wait for day

To wait again for him to return to me
