Stuffy Room

It's stuffy in the room,

As if I'm gonna meet my doom.

I turn around,

And I hear the sound

Of people blabbering about,

And the word, "Math" they shout.

I'm good so they say,

As I help them by day.

They copy my sheet,

But they won't admit defeat,

As they laugh at the problem,

Then ask me to help'em.

I don’t think that they understood,

When I said I hated it for good.

They make me do what I distaste,

And I can’t object cuz my gift would go to waste.

But I persevere,

Because I just want to hear,

As loud as a bell,

That I did well.
