Still There

It's like the moon it's always there
As day become night and the night becomes day it's still there
Even though it's not visible it's still there
Discrimination
it is within our borders in our nation
It's still there yet so settle
Like the wind that blows on the blades of the grass in the Plantation
Like Mark Twain said, "History doesn't repeat itself, it rhymes."
It changes into another form to transform through the times
It can be polite to the rudest of the rude
It can be against races or a lady or a dude
However it is displayed it's still there
It is not extreme as it used to be
But it can still offend you or me
Why can't we all get along
Hold hands and sing a unified song
We can't because it's still there
The racism, the hatred, the pain, and injustice is still there
