Still Loving Him

Seething, smoldering, simmering

Is what I see in his eyes

Her eyes contain hurt, betrayal, and emptiness

She waits for a sign that he cares

He doesn’t

He broke her

 And moved on

Still waiting for her sign

He goes on and lives

She dies… still loving him

He betrayed her many times

She still loved him

She didn’t come home until late

One

Day

He thought wrong

In the end

She died

Still loving

Him
