still

Fri, 06/22/2018 - 11:30 -- camper

The water stands still like a sleeping bird

It silently calls for me to come to it

The water is dirty and can not be seen through

It is trapped by tall oaks that will not let it free

Fish swim with pleasure invaading every crevice

Eventhough the water has so many friends

It feels as if he was alone forever

You can hear the frogs croaking and moaning

As they splash the water with no care at all

The water just wants to be free and loved

It wants to escape ones holding him down

The water never fit in with the others

When water was young he still was too old

When water was old he was always trapped

Water oh water just wants to be free

Water oh water just wants be a part of something

Water oh water just wants to fly
