Sticking Out

They told me to stick out

So I scream and I cry and I shout

Can't anyone hear me?

But no one makes a sound.

They told me to stick out

So I hide and sneak and lie low

Can't anyone see me?

But no one bats an eye.

They told me to stick out

So I touch and I grab and I take

Can't anyone feel me?

But no one moves a muscle

They told me to stick out

So I eavesdrop and listen and strain my ear

Can't anyone hear?

But no one makes a sound

They told me to stick out

So I bite and consume and devour

Can't anyone taste the dfiference?

But no one makes a face.
