Start

from the moment we take in our first breath

Inhaling all the essence of our existence

Inhaling life into our small bodies

it begins

softly at first

then gradually the pressure of life builds

A detrimental journey of discovery unfolds

echos of life's lessons reverberate through us

rippling through our souls like ocean waves

the moments of calm can tantalize the senses

beckoning us to let go of its hypnotic rhythm

enticing my body to move, to dance, to free myself of all the things that would hold me still

oh that feeling of ecstasy causes goosebumps to rise and a shiver to wriggle its way down my spine

I lose all of me in that moment I give in to it

ignorance can lull you into trusting that the sun will never set, but you'll find the sun will set on that orgasmic feeling and leave your life grasping for color.

that is when you learn that not everything is technicolored ecstasy

There is a darkness to humanity that no one can prepare you for

Whether it be sooner or later in life it comes all the same

Leaving you broken on your knees a withered mess of ethereal dust.
