The Stars Watch Us and Weep

How do you know you love someone?

When do you start loving them?

How long should you wait until you tell them?

Is it when the streetlight hits your brow in the most

Breathtaking way that shades your beautiful grey eyes

As they stare into mine,

Stopping my breath your callused hands

Cup my jaw,

You lean down to me

Your soft lips collide with mine

My eyes slowly close

Not fast enough to watch

Your deep grey eyes disappear under your eyelids.

We warm the crisp autumn air around us with

The loud, burning thoughts

Crying, screaming, begging

"Let me LOVE you! Hard!"
