Staring back at me

Once you got on the M102 bus,

You sat in that seat right across from me.

I couldn't help myself by staring at you like a hawk who is about to catch its prey.

You looked so goodin your blue denim jeans, and that pumpkin colored muscle shirt.

As you were bopping your head to some music on your video iPod, I continued to stare.

I stared at you for a while, thinking to myself,

Wow! What a good-looking man I have in front of me.

I smiled to myself as I was thinking about what it would be like if i got to know you.

I wonder about what your name could be,

Jason, Chris, or Michel.

As I sat across from you,

Our eyes never met!

Not for a second!

Then I finally took out my novel ,

I began to read.

You got off at E88st, and once I looked up,

There you were staring back at me.
