Star

Doomed from start, we played our part,

Two young hearts shall fall apart.

Work of art with all the smarts,

You’re perfect but you’ll depart.

You made me tall as a wall,

You showed me love I recall,

You made me smile overall,

But all in all, destined to fall.

Your desire I do not bare,

Separated by the prayer.

And if this love we can’t share,

Then for you I’ll still be there.

Pointless love won’t rise above,

When it’s easily disposed of.

Flown away just like a dove,

But maybe it is behove.

Babe, you are a special one,

So sorry for what’s become.

But shine on you perfect star.

You’re on par and you’ll go far.
