Stand

Location

An eerie feeling fills my spirit.

Taking over what was left of it.

The same routine took place.

Bully. Nerd. Aggression in his face.

"Why?” I always cry out.

Yet I never know what is coming.

More blows forced upon me.

I wish I could strike out running.

Something always says, “Stand up.”

I choose to close my ears.

Afraid of what else could happen.

Frightened in total fear.

Why this goes on,

It’s an enigma I don’t understand.

A cry that cannot be heard.

Heard from the little man.

I’m all alone in this cold cruel world.

With a wish that won’t come true.

For all of the bullying to cease.

Not just for me, but for you, too
