Stage of Life

Location

Once upon a dream and in our dearest desires,

a lost voice is heard.

Can it be the true person that everyone aspires?

Fighting the light, truth peaks out the curtain

to realize why its hiding.

Nobody wants to be judged, that is for certain.

A beautiful wall-flower, we are in our prime.

Embracing our silence,

we pull the rope, and come out at the right time.

But still here I sit, waiting to pull my rope,

scared of the unknown.

The thought of the applause however, gives me hope.
