The Stage
As I write, I enter a stage
A stroke of the pen, equals the dialogue of a piece
The diction of verses, compares to the dialect of speech
And as I write my story, and I convey my words
I realize that the message we all need to hear
Is simple, yet extravagant
Noble but undignified
It is a message to continue on, to live a life
To be free
I have finally told my story and now it ends
I have written my last line,
And I sense something greater as I exit the stage
As I end my tale
I am just a part of some greater act, an untold series
One that shall never end
