Splattered Thoughts

Within the abundance of thoughts in our minds

We categorize every knowledgeable memory for use of another day.

Occasionally the thoughts that surface are indescribable.

Knotted and tangled with pulled emotions,

Quickly shortened thoughts.

Concepts lengthened by overthought and frustration,

Unable to determine the right words nor actions.

Here and there,

Able to determine glimpse of figures

But quickly lost. Untraceable.

Ideas and happiness wrapped up into a canvas cloth.

And a sturdy foundation,

Supported by a wooden frame of our endurance.

Splattered with hints of sorrowful yellow,

And smeared with red for the drastic moments in life.

Vigorously layered throughout the whole painting is pain,

Accumulating something that was once colorful into a single color,

Black.

Abruptly ruptured by the past, present, and future of society,

Darkening perspectives.

Emotions and dedication thrown onto a blank canvas,

Simply creating an abstract masterpiece of the mind.
