1 Thessalonians 5:16-19       New English Translation

16 Always rejoice, 17 constantly pray, 18 in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not extinguish the Spirit.

Spiritual condition

The Spirit is very tender and sensitive the moment one is redeemed

And when joined to Christ, Himself will go gently into hiding

When the indifference of the flesh is driven only by its own means

It rules and bullies its way through life in a loveless shell residing

Does the Spirit build a protective wall to prevent unneeded tears?

A broken spirit Christ won’t resist as He knows our pains and aches

I am joined to Him in Spirit and nothing is able to separate us here

There is no use to question that at all for it should not get a time of day
