The Spirit's ministry

2 Corinthians 3:7-8

The Greater Glory of the Spirit’s Ministry

But if the ministry that produced death—carved in letters on stone tablets—came with glory, so that the Israelites could not keep their eyes fixed on the face of Moses because of the glory of his face (a glory which was made ineffective), 8 how much more glorious will the ministry of the Spirit be?

“The ministry of the Spirit” ... is living the example.

We don’t have to learn it ... it’s a step out of the way.

It seems so simple, but the Lord still wants to use it

as every part is possible ... to glorify His Name.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22

21 But it is God who establishes us together with you in Christ and who anointed us, 22 who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment.

“Sealed in the Spirit as a guarantee”... He comes to stay forever.

His presence you can’t escape but you can force Him into hiding.

You can ignore completely ... the advice that He gives

up to the point you forget His voice and you won’t recognize it.

Fading away from purpose and call ... with both eyes on yourself

forgetting the One Who saved you ... and paid the price in full.

You talk about Him all the time but your heart is far from Him

so that He becomes a fixture or good habit ... in everything you do.
