Spiked Cracks and Stunt Growth

Walking down the street

Theres a rose in between the concrete

She says " this rose is so beautifull"

Naturally I crush it

She says " Why did you crush the rose? it was so beautifull?"

I say " It still is. But  more importantly, it's apsolutely tenacious."

She says " But you crushed it.  Now I feel sad for this rose."

I say " What about that one over there? In the next crack? It's growing from concrete and it's just as tenacious."

She says " Yah but it's still in concrete."

I say " Yes I know, but what about all the others growing in concrete?"

She says " What do you mean? i dont see any."

I say " Just use your common sense, just because you can't see them, does not mean you can't feel love for them."

She says " But what about this one? it's completely crushed."

I say " Yes it's been crippled and unlucky. But his roots are still there. That means they can still grow. Don't we know someone crippled yet genius?"

She says " Who?"

I say " He's a super computer guy."

She says " So if he's crippled how did he grow?"

I say " He still had his roots."

She says " How are his roots still there?"

I say " Didn't you listen? A rose that grows from concrete is apsolutely tenacious."

She says "Oh"
