Once there was a woman named Rosa Parks
Her famous action created a spark
It all started long ago
On a bus ready to go
She got on the bus to take a seat
Not knowing what she will meet
The more the white men crowded the bus
The closer her fate became known to us
When a person asked her to leave
That's when racism payed its fee
She refused to release the spot that she bared
Knowing that it would be more than a dare
As they arrested her and threw her in jail
All the African Americans began to rise
Seeing how lady justice failed her side
Soon after that, Americans everywhere had equal rights
And racism no longer had any might
Now a statue stands tall to congratulate her
While hatred in our land is almost a blur
