Sow Your Seed.

The sun shines, but the skies frown,

The rain falls on an empty town,

Watch the children run throughout the streets,

As they skin their knees and ruin their cleats,

We see the future in their eyes, and we shape their destiny,

But we never stop to consider that we're their worst enemy,

A carpenter without tools has no chance of building successfully,

So the same rules apply when we're applying ourselves mentally,

The foundation begins with us, the clock cannot tick without our hands,

And the rubber only holds itself until we craft them into bands,

So we cannot leave the future to chance,

Because without the steps, they will not succeed,

We make the music and teach them to dance,

Hand in hand, the future and the past, we sow the seeds.
