The Sound of My Dad's Laughter

We are polar oppisites

Unusual for a father and his daughter

But sitting here at this table with you as we laugh about the stupidest things

We've never felt more alike

You say laughter is the best way to ease a heavy heart

You've always been right about that

Listening to our laughter as it mingles in the air

All my struggles leave the room

I'm at peace at last
