Sorry

I have nothing poetic left to say.

The strict contours of rose water apartments have been hidden beneath the snow

A silent rebellion against sharp edges.

Spider silk clouds clear the canvas for color,

The kind of sunset people write poems about.

But I have nothing poetic to say about how even the sky contradicts itself.

Yellow apologies and pink farewells.

As if it needed forgiveness for being blue.
