SORE THROAT

Tue, 10/30/2018 - 19:39 -- jaziyn

I got sick today.

My symptoms are

HEADACHES exhaustion RUNNY NOSE heartache SNEEZING

disillusionment COUGH sadness CONGESTION detachment SORE THROAT.

I didn’t sing in the shower today,

because I lost my voice.

I didn’t read aloud in class today,

because I lost my voice.

I didn’t talk to my friends today,

because I lost my voice.

I didn’t speak at all today.

I lost my voice.

I turned on the news today.

I saw

POP CULTURE police brutality LOTTERY global warming ROYALS

immigration SPORTS homicide MONEY hate crimes ENTERTAINMENT.

They barely showed what was important,

so I spoke out.

They desensitized a million forms of horror,

so I spoke out.

They helped suppress the oppressed,

so I spoke out.

I didn’t speak at all today.

But I found my voice.
