Difficult to decide which is my home,
America, the land where I was born?
Or is it where my ancestors are from?
Between these different worlds I remain torn,
I live and learn here in the USA
Surrounded by my family and friends,
But my heart lies somewhere a world away
In a land where the beauty never ends,
Unfamiliar and strange though it may seem
I feel as though I’ve lived there all along
Among the fields, and mountains, and sun beams,
Where else could I have thought I would belong
If not right there, in that most wondrous place?
Armenia, that quickens my heart’s pace
