Songs

Psalm 42:1-2 Book 2 (Psalms 42-72)Psalm 42For the music director; a well-written song by the Korahites. As a deer longs for streams of water,
so I long for you, O God!

I thirst for God, for the living God.
I say, “When will I be able to go and appear in God’s presence?”
  Songs

Songs of the past remind me

of a simple call to service.

Of Assurance of Salvation

and the power of our God.

It is me He tries to mold

and prepare for His Service

through love and limitless patience

so I won’t be like a robot.

He provides the Living Water

that flows through the Holy Spirit.

direct into the spirit mine

as long as I share Jesus.

My spirit overflows with Him

He pours Himself in merit

into everything I need to be

in the image of Christ Jesus.

If I quit sharing however

the flow will slow and stop.

My spirit instead of overflowing

will become stagnant for sure.

It will drown in its own feelings

and develop into a pitiful drop

to be absorbed in a fast indifference

where the soul cannot endure.
