Something Worth Fighting For

Location

I Say, Can you see

In the morning's first light,

The footprints of soldiers

Heading off for the fight.

They fought for our freedom

And now we are free

Others leave us alone,

They let us be.

There are fifty states,

All glorious and amazing.

The people in this place

Are strong and blazing.

They say together we stand

But divided we fall,

Similar to mountains

We SHALL stand tall.

We have our differences

That may separate us,

But one things for sure

It's in God we trust.

There's no place like home,

It's where we were born.

We were wrapped in a blanket,

Safe and warm,

When our soldier came home,

All worn and torn.

They marched up the sidewalks

Proclaiming victory.

Now we can all live in America

The land of liberty.
