SOMETHING OF THE PAST

Something Of The Past

Of things undesirable in a man is when he can't dance !
Things unspeakable is his eye's when he lies !
The scent of summer night I think romance and love ,
Red wine and the two of us making love ,
The street are busy tonight going on with life ,
As we think about love .
This is one of my fading memory with one golden moment.
To hold on to another time .
The last remaining member of the crowd
Was walking away in a hurry
With hands raised high with tears in his eyes
When we had to say goodbye ,
Life can be so funny at times ,
But the life we once had is so easy to fad away in time ,
I sat leaning against a mailbox thinking to myself
Should I put this letter in the box .
Well he remember me or will he not ,
Did he get married or did he pass on !
Then I just kiss the letter and sent it on its way ,
The one day this love of my past came to my mind
When I saw him walking my way with a big smile on his face
And true love made its way back home to stay .
