Something to Be

Thu, 02/16/2017 - 10:43 -- Mateos

The world is like a bowl filled with anything inside,

I never seen the sight before in my dreams.

A slience breathes in the air as it leaks through our souls.

My eyes watch while another's time fades away after their words cease.

Our moment can not last because it is something worth not keeping.

At last, the sun sets to finish the chapter where you were introduced.

I wanted the waters to rumble underneath me for happiness.

Not despair unlike yours.

Seas of mountains hid quietly among the lost boats

On the horizen of one's broken heart.

Chambers bury the few years you weren't there;

the drapes poise my secrets in the dark.

No truth shades past the cloth barricading my room.

Long strands of pain stitch together to form the ropes

That will hang those who are guitly of my aches.

A chester nut rots in the door made from my childhood trees.

I earned many scars and scrapes that equal the fun they brought.

Sometimes, bleeding helps me remember so well.

Everyone knows that there can be a thread cut

Between you and me in this world.

Should I slip off towards the eyes of those around me,

Or should I listen to what my mind pounds in me?

The lost society lines under my skin

For only one ruler can seek its glory.

Till the towers peel away and my rivers drain,

I will continue to carry ships away from their harbors.
