Soldier's Last Words

Location

Sitting on these cold, wet, muddy grounds.

Nobody will ever know or feel this but me.

Starring at the skies filled with stars, reminds me of the lightbugs back home.

My heart beat gets stronger by the second.

Home, I don't remember what it feels like anymore.

Bullets strike, I feel blind, trying to fight, at night.

Back home i lost everything except my seven year old boy.

Breathing is getting harder for me.

The most treasured memory I go to is my son being born.

A flash of  a white bright light comes, I can barely hear my fellow soldiers.

Love, Peace, and Goodbye was all left to say.
