Personally I believe

That there can be happy endings

Based more off what we love

And not how much we are spending

And not who we spend it on

Or whether they deserve it or not

Because truly we all know

Not one person in this world does.

We speak with so much greed

And pennies are never much

It seems we think we have seen it all

But really we haven't seen enough

And even if we ever do

I don't trust our ways will change

I guess that will be the downfall

Of our so called human race.
