Everyday you try

You want to have some fame, some wealth pbefore you die

You fall to your knees and you fight yourself to not cry

You don't want to show your emotions. Why?

On this planet that is blue and green. it may seem that life is serene and it would be if people weren't so mean. Your ugly if you’re not lean.

You fatty they sneer. You get on the bus and meet a paralyzing leer. And as they jeer they don't notice the single tear and the redness of your ear.

This is society today. It is messed up but you must find your way. Working as hard as possible just for a place to stay as you watch yourself decay. This isn't your dream to yourself you say. You just want a comfortable place to lay maybe be able to look out across the bay.

But you're caught in a trap. You are lost in this world without a map. The wind blows off your baseball cap. But it's not over. No! It's not a wrap. This is not a movie so cut the crap. No longer will people pity you saying "ah you poor sap."

I will pull you out of your sea of emotions and drag you onto land. You shiver because your wet and caked in sand. But it's been alright ever since I grabbed your hand. The only thing that will control you now is your alarm on your nightstand. And maybe things didn't go as planned, but your finally on your feet cause you can finally stand.

Leave your past behind. Don't let it be a shadow that haunts you in the back of your mind. Your life has been refined and you are a one of a kind. Have confidence in yourself and you will find,

That you will no longer be lost. Just try your hardest no matter the cost.

Never  again will you let those jerks get under your skin and then you will realize that you win.

You have won the game of life because you chose happiness over pain and strife.

Now go and carry out your hearts content. And with that, on your way, you went.
